What is the drop off process?

  1. When you drop off or we pick up your device for repair, all we need is your device and power cable and any other information you would like to give us.
  2. We will then diagnose the issue and give you an estimate on price for repair.
  3. The repair timeframe varies depending on the issue. If we need to order certain parts it could take a bit longer as we wait for parts to arrive.
  4. If you are happy to repair we will continue with the repair and let you know when finished.

We will try to keep you updated through the repair process via text message or phone call.

Turn around times

Most common repairs are completed 1-3 days, unless more complicated and require parts, etc..

Travel Costs

For onsite support

 

  • Under 5km travel is included in first hour.
  • 5-10km is $35
  • 10km - 20km is $45

Senior Prices

There is a 10% reduction in pricing for remote and onsite services for elderly.

Pickup, Repair & Delivery

We can pickup your device, repair it and then drop it back off to you. This is useful if you don't have transport , are too busy or feel comfortable having someone pick it up for you.

 

  • Pickup & delivery repair pricing is the same as if your device has been dropped off, just with the addition of travel and dismantling/installation (if needed)
  • Please note travel is priced twice because of pickup & drop off

Dropping off your device to our workshop

When dropping off your device to us the price is dependent on the service quote or diagnostic fee and any parts needed to complete the repair.

We will diagnose the issue and let you know rough costs, exact pricing may not be completely possible on some jobs. But we will try to give you a min-max range.

Diagnosis Pricing

To diagnose your device there is a minimum fee of $70 for basic issues. More advanced issues like motherboard issues may incur extra costs because of time involved.

For example:

  • Liquid damage inspection - Roughly $120 (Usually requires full dismantle of device)
  • Motherboard issues
  • Complex software issues

Need a computer insurance report?

If your device is damaged and you would like to get a computer insurance report to show your insurance company. We can prepare one for you.

We will need to look at the device, diagnose the issue and then write up a detailed PDF document with pictures of the device and problems found that you can send to your insurance company.

Our reports are priced at $150.

Data Recovery Pricing

For data recovery we provide a diagnosis for $65, then we will quote on cost of recovery.

A quote is based on the level of recovery from minor software to more complex hardware type recoveries.

The $65 is included in the total recovery cost.
