How to repair a laptop power jack?
Laptop models usually have different types of power jacks. Some models will have them soldered to the motherboard others will have the power jack on a little cable that needs to be plugged into the motherboard and others will have it built into a daughter board which is connected to the motherboard.
There may be other different variations in relation to the way they sit in the laptop.
So depending on the type they will need to be replaced in some way either by soldering or just replacing the cable or board.
USB-C power ports are harder repair and would be more difficult than the normal charging ports.
