Diamond Creek is a great little suburb and has a great walking track that stretches all the way to Eltham and into the city called the Diamond Creek Trail.
At the moment the walking trail is being extended the other way through Wattle Glen to Hurstbridge. Diamond Creek also has a variety of shops in the town centre which you can get most things you need.

There is also a train station in the town centre as well as a bus station to help you get to different places much easier, it can take a while to wait for the train or a bus to come especially in the morning but it’s not too bad.
Another little interesting place around Diamond creek is the Diamond Creek Gold Mine which was discovered in 1863.
Diamond Creek has a few schools like the Diamond Valley College and Sacred Heart Primary School as well as community groups like the Rotary Club.
Diamond Creek also has recently had a new upgrade to the walking track near the Dog Park, which a new park has been built which has a variety of different amusements for the kids and also a cafe which has been built out of a tram
Diamond Creek is an easy gateway to other close suburbs like Panton Hill, Kangaroo Ground, St Andrews, Arthurs Creek, Smiths Gully, Strathewen, etc. Which we also provide our computer repairs to the residents of.
